Build who you want to be.
Know how you think first. Mentry maps the strengths you can lean on and the patterns that hold you back, then turns them into a 12-week plan for the goal you choose.

insight
Because you tend to predict the worst before a deadline, try writing one other way it could go.
How it works, in three steps.
Every recommendation comes from your own profile — “because you tend to X, try Y” — never from a generic list of self-help tips.
Map
See how you think
A 20-question test built on everyday situations — not office scenarios — and a first guided session where you describe something that happened recently. Mentry finds the thinking patterns in your own words.
Understand
Know what helps and what holds you back
Every pattern comes with the exact sentence it came from, so you can say yes, partly or not really. You see the strengths to lean on and the habits of thought that keep pulling you off track.

Turn it into a plan for your goal
Three small actions a week, each tied to a strength or a pattern you're training. A 30-second check-in tells the plan what worked, and next week adapts to it.
- Two 20-minute runs
- Write the worst case, then the likely one
- Tell one friend the race date
What you do each week is added to your map, so it becomes more accurate over time.
A plan built from how you think.
The first thing you see after signing in: your goal, what to lean on, what to train, and this week’s three actions.
Hello, Alex
You moved forward 4 of the last 6 days.
Run my first 10k by March
your strength: visionary
You see the finish line early. Picture race day for one minute before each run.
train / fortune telling
“I’ll never be a runner.” After each run, write one fact that argues back.
This week
- Two 20-minute runslean on
- Worst case, then likely casetrain
- Tell one friend the race datelean on
Check-ins
Slips are data, not failure.
Actions done
Four ways of thinking. You use all of them.
The test gives you a mix, not a label. Each style has something to lean on and something to watch.
You think in possibilities. You see where things could go before anyone else does.
- Watch for:
- Starting ten things and finishing none. Skipping the boring middle where the work happens.
- Use it for:
- Setting direction, picturing the finish line, and getting unstuck when every day feels the same.
Short on purpose.
Change sticks when it fits into a normal week. So every part of Mentry is short on purpose.

Questions, answered.
New to thinking patterns? Start with the guide to the 10 most common ones or the four thinking styles.
What is Mentry?
Mentry is a free self-knowledge and growth app. It maps how you think — your strongest thinking style and the thinking patterns that hold you back — and turns that into a 12-week plan for a goal you choose, with weekly actions, daily check-ins, short training exercises and an AI coach.
How does the thinking style test work?
It’s 20 quick questions about everyday situations — free time, friends, money, decisions. It takes about four minutes and shows your mix of four thinking styles: Visionary, Analytical, Empathetic and Pragmatic. You get a mix, not a label.
What are thinking patterns?
Thinking patterns (often called cognitive distortions) are mental shortcuts like all-or-nothing thinking, mind reading or catastrophizing. Everyone has them. Mentry points them out in your own words, you confirm the ones that fit, and they appear on your personal map.
Is Mentry therapy?
No. Mentry is a self-knowledge and growth tool based on cognitive psychology and AI. It is not a medical device or therapy service and does not replace professional mental health support. If you are in crisis in Spain, call 024 (free, 24 hours) or 112.
Is it free?
Yes. The thinking style test, your map, the 12-week plan, check-ins, the journal, mind training and the coach (10 messages a day) are free. Premium features are coming later and will be optional.
What happens to what I write?
Only you can see your entries. To find patterns, the text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic), which does not use it to train its models and keeps it only for a limited time under its retention policy. Your coach chats are saved in your account so you can read them again, but the coach itself only gets a short summary (your goal, plan, top patterns, latest check-in) plus today’s last few messages. If a text shows signs of crisis, we show support numbers and don’t save that text. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Can I write in my own language?
Yes. The app is in English, but you can write your sessions, journal and coach messages in any language. The analysis and the coach will understand you.
